At Trivia Dating, the singles who make up our community represent the focal point of what we do. We’re constantly looking for ways to improve our events and the service we offer and if there’s any help we can give you in any way, we welcome your inquiry.

Q. Can I come on my own or do I need to be part of a team?
A. That’s entirely up to you, come on your own, come with a couple of friends or even make up your own team, it’s your night out. On the night your host will divide everybody up into teams. So if you come as a group of 3 or 4 you’ll be in the same team, but if you come as a group of 10 say, we may divide you into groups. Whatever you decide to do, it will be a great night out.
Q. Where can I find Information on the location of the event?
A. When you register for a specific event you will also find a link to the venue giving you all the information you need about how to get there, parking and other facilities at the venue.
Q. Can I leave at any time?
A. Yes, as tables will work in rotation, you will have the opportunity to leave at any time (no pressure at all).
Q. Does Triva Dating only cater for young singles?
A. No, we will have events that cater for different age groups and backgrounds.
Q. What kind of people will I meet?
A. You’ll meet other singles like yourself in the age group you nominated, people like you who live around the area of the event or in the case of an event being held in the city, you will meet other professional people in your age group hopefully with similar interests
Q. Will I meet new people at each event?
A. You will meet new people at these events, but as you have no doubt experienced occasionally you will meet people again from other events, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
Q. When are the events held?
A. Our guests have busy social lives on the weekend, so most Trivia Dating events are held on weeknights. Our research shows that these are the least busy nights of the week for singles.
Q. What time do the events begin and end?
A. We like you to get there at 7pm for a 7.30pm start, we then stop for a break around 8.15pm, restart at around 8.45pm finish the trivia at around 9.30pm and the bar stays open until 10.00pm, we can’t go too late, it is a school night after all.
Q. Are there always equal numbers of men and women at these events?
A. We always do our very best to ensure equal numbers of men and women, but it isn’t always possible especially with last minute cancellations, but a couple of extras or just a couple fewer really doesn’t matter, we’ll still go ahead with the night.
Q. How many people am I likely to meet on the night?
A. All going well, you’ll meet 24 other people, maybe a couple more, maybe a couple less.
Q. How hard are the questions you ask at the event?
A. Relax, they aren’t that hard, remember we don’t want you to feel silly, they’re just challenging enough to make them interesting, some of them are topical, while some of them are just plane crazy and a little cheeky. We also include the old favourites like a music round and the famous faces or picture round.
Q. What's the dress code?
A. There are no regulations… obviously you should ‘dress to impress’, but we do suggest that the girls in particular wear something nice and comfortable. For example, we don’t want any ‘wardrobe malfunctions’ during a physical challenge. (Don‘t panic… things don’t ever get too physical, but it’s always best to be on the safe side.)
Q. How do I meet up with the people I met on the night that I’d like to see again?
A. That’s something else we help out with, we give you a match card at the start of the evening and you just fill in the name of the person and their team name, we then collate the information and email you with the names of the people you wanted to see again who also wanted to see you again.
Q. How soon will I receive my matches?
A. We try very hard to get your matches to you within 24 to 48 hours.
Q. How will my matches contact me?
A. We provide your matches with the email address or mobile phone number you provided us for your matches when you registered.
Q. Who calls who?
A. Well you know you both wanted to see each other again so why not both of you, the sooner you phone or email, the sooner you can...well that’s up to you.
